Ogbomoso Is Blessed With Noble Sons, Daughters Who Love God and Their Community' - Prelate Kanu-Uche

   

The Methodist Church Nigeria Prelate, His Eminence, Dr. Samuel  Kanu-Uche, has urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the country and be patient, tolerant, and work for a united and vibrant nation. The Prelate stated this during a courtesy visit to the President of the O'first group, Sir. Olusegun Adekunle in Ogbomoso on Saturday.

Dr. Kanu-Uche in the company of his wife, further said that peace through violence is not a good peace. He advocates for dialogue as the best option that can promote peaceful coexistence in Nigeria. 

He stresses the need for government to dialogue with the aggrieved people and release Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho so that there can be peace in Nigeria. The Methodist leader stated that all Nigerians should be patriotic and build the country.

Dr. Kanu-Uche also commends Ogbomoso First Initiative for giving back to society and their service to humanity and the Ogbomoso community. He stated that Ogbomoso is blessed with noble sons, daughters who love God and their community. 

Responding  the Chief host and President of the O'first group, Sir. Olusegun Adekunle appreciated the primate for the honor and stated that giving back to society is their priority.

Earlier, the Prelate was inducted as an associate member of the Ogbomoso First Initiative (O'First group) at the event.

Dignitaries at the event include Bishop of Ogbomoso Diocese, Rt. Rev. David Moradeyo, Bishop of Oyo Diocese, Iyalode of Ogbomosoland, High Chief Oluwakemi Ogundare, wife of Alapa of Okin Apa, Olori Oyekemi Akintola, Hon. Akinwale Akinwole, Ogbomoso First Initiative members, Methodist Church Clerics, among others.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.
