  A graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Engineer Kazeem Adio Adegboye has emerged as the Onisanbo of Ogbooro, in Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Saki East Local Government in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo state. Oba Adegboye, who studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering hails from Omole Ruling House of Ogbooro Land. According to Oke-Ogun Reporters, Onisanbo is the title of royal stool of Ogbooro which according to records and history is open to four families namely Daodu Ruling House, Omole Ruling House, Adeoye Ruling House and Lasile Ruling House. Oyo Releases N72 Million CSDA Counterpart Fund |Ogbomoso Info

  Oyo State government has approved the release of N72 Million as counterpart fund for the Oyo State Community and Social development Agency (OYCSDA) for the improvement of living standard in rural communities. The fund was meant to access a World Bank intervention fund on COVID-19 Action Response and Economic Stimulus (CARES) for empowerment project, expected to kick off in January 2021 with focus on livelihood of the people at the grassroot. Makinde Approves N1.3 Billion Gratuity for 573 Pensioners

  Several pensioners in Oyo State have been presented gratuity cheques amounting to N1.3billion, on Monday. The beneficiaries, that include 449 pensioners living and next-of-kins of 124 dead pensioners, are drawn from those primary school teachers that retired in 2011 and 2012 and from those local government workers that exited service in 2014 making a total of 573 recipients.   The suspected Ibadan serial killer, Sunday Shodipe, has been rearrested by operatives of the Oyo State police command. The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the development to the  Nigerian Tribune  SP Fadeyi said: “The suspect has been rearrested and is currently in police custody.” Shodipe (19), who is suspected to have killed about six women at Akinyele Local Government Area of the state, escaped from the Mokola police station on Tuesday, August 11. "The board will now maintain an account into which the Gross Salaries of all Primary Health Care Workers in the local government areas of the State shall be remitted. "The remittance by the local government shall be done by third week of the month. We believe tho will improve the welfarism and encourage health workers, who labour day and night caring for the sick at the grassroot," he added.
