Local Guard, Secondary School Student Drown in Ogbomoso River

The Ogbomoso South commander of the Nigeria Hunter and Forestry Security Services (NHFSS), Mr Rotimi Adigun popularly known As Bintin and a student have been retrieved from the River where they were drowned.

Bintin’s corpse and that of the unidentified student he allegedly pursued into a river at Sunsun area behind the Baptist Beulah Centre of the Ogbomoso Baptist Conference, were recovered.

It was gathered that Bintin got drowned as he jumped after a student he was pursuing into a river.

Policemen, Amotekun operatives, firefighters, and others reportedly stormed the area for a rescue operation but it was abortive.
