Oyo State government has announced the release of the timetable for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for Public Schools.
The announcement was made by the Registrar of Education, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Yekeen M. B., on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olusanjo Adeniyi.
The timetable provides the dates and subjects for the examination, aiming to ensure proper planning and preparation for the BECE.
According to the timetable, the examination will begin with Mathematics on July 24, 2023, and conclude with Business Studies/Oral Igbo and Oral Hausa language on August 2, 2023.
The examination will commence at 9.00am daily across designated centers in the state’s Public Schools.
BECE is a significant assessment for students transitioning from basic education to secondary education.
The Registrar said the release of the time table demonstrates Oyo State government’s commitment to providing quality education and maintaining a standardized examination process.
Yekeen added that schools, teachers, and students are urged to align their study plans and revision schedules accordingly.
