Few days after The Soun of Ogbomoso , Oba Jimoh Oladuni Oyewunmi, Ajagungbade 111 denied the rejection of the N90m balance promised by governor Seyi Makinde for the renovation of the palace, another letter has surface from the palace urging the governor to stay action on the balance and use it to empower Youths in Ogbomoso
OGBOMOSOINFO recalls that the Soun had earlier anounced the rejection in a letter only for the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa to deny such occurrence.The letter which was addressed to governor Makinde was recieved and stamped at the office of the Chief Security officer of the state was writer with Soun’s letter Header paper and duely signed by the monarch.
The letter reads:
RE: PLEDGE OF ONE HUNDRED MILLION NAIRA (N100,000,000.00) FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE VANDALIZED PALACE
I would like to thank you once again for your kind gesture on your sympathy visit to the Palace.
We appreciate your contribution of a down payment of Ten Million Naira towards the renovation of the Palace.
Consequently, I would like your Excellency to stay action on the remaining Ninety million Naira. I suggest that the balance should be spent on youth empowerment in
my domain.
As I said during your visit, it is extremely important that we should empower our youths to contribute meaningfully to our development.
I thank you once again for your kind gesture.

OGBOMOSOINFO recalls that the Palace was vandalized during the crisis in the town following the murder of Jimoh Isiaka allegedly by security personnel.
