NFF Appoints Crown FC Coach As Flying Eagles Assistant Coach

 



The Nigeria Football Federation has composed new technical crews for a number of National Teams. The composition sees the return of one-time U20 Boys’ Head Coach, Isah Ladan Bosso, with Christopher Danjuma retaining the U20 Girls’ lead role, and Bankole Olowookere emerging as Head Coach of the U17 girls, Flamingos.


 

Former international defender and the Head Coach of Crown FC of Ogbomoso, Oladunni Oyekale will serve as first assistant to Bosso at the U20, with Jolomi Atune Alli (second assistant), Samaila Marwa Keshi (assistant coach/scout) and Suleiman Shuaibu Akanmu (goalkeeper coach) completing the Flying Eagles’ bench.


 


Fatai Amoo will head the U17 boys’ squad, to be assisted by Ahmed Lawal Dankoli (first assistant), Nnamdi Onuigbo (second assistant), Hassan Abdallah (assistant coach/scout) and Danlami Kwasau (goalkeeper coach) in his crew.

 


Meanwhile, the Management, technical crew, players and staff of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso congratulated the Head Coach of the team, Oladunni Oyekale, on his recent appointment as the Flying Eagles Assistant Coach.

Mr Oyekunle Oyeleye, the Acting General Manager of the club while speaking on the appointment appreciated the Nigeria Football Federation headed by Amaju Piknik and other stakeholders for making this possible.


” My appreciation goes to God for this favour bestowed on our Head Coach. The whole Ogbomoso and Oyo State appreciate this great gesture and I am happy this is happening in my time as the acting leader of the club.

“Coach Oyekale is one of the best coaches in the league with vast experiences. He is a disciplinarian, proactive, team player and a silent achiever who does things on merit.

“Having equally managed the likes of Adamawa United FC , Gombe United FC, amongst others, I am sure he will do us proud.


“This is not the first national coaching assignment of the former Under 16, U-20 and U-23 national player and I am confident that he will not let us down and he will bring in his wealth of experiences to propel the Ajilete Warriors FC to the Nigeria Premier League”, Mr ‘Kunle Oyeleye 0pined.

Coach Oladunni Oyekale still remains the Head Coach of Crown FC.

NECO releases 2022 SSCE external results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the November/December 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the registrar of NECO, broke the news on Thursday in Minna, the capital of Niger state. The 2022 SSCE for external candidates was held from November 21 to December 21. The NECO registrar said a total of 59,124 candidates sat for the examination, with 31,316 males, representing 52.96 per cent, while 27,808, representing 47.03 per cent, were female. He said 58,012 candidates sat for the English Language with 44,162, representing 76.13 per cent, getting credit and above. According to Wushishi, the number of candidates who wrote Mathematics is 57,700, out of which 43,096, representing 74.69 per cent, got credit and above. He also disclosed that 46,825 candidates, representing 79.20%, got five credits and above — irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
