The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso has announced the introduction of new courses of study at the Post-Graduate level and change of nomenclature to some Programmes.
According to a statement by the institution President, Rev. Prof. Emiola Nihinlola, the newly approved programmes includes MA Missiology, MA Bible Translation, MDiv Chaplaincy, PhD Christian Worship.Master of Divinity Programmes have been upgraded to full Post-Graduate Programme with the following specializations:
(a) MDiv. Church Music - Performance, Worship, Composition and Musicology.
(b) MDiv. Education - Administration & Leadership, Family Education/Ministry, Teacher Education, Curriculum and Languages.
(c) MDiv. Theology - Biblical Studies (OT/NT), Intercultural Studies, Practical Theology, Systematic Theology, Philosophy, and Chaplaincy.
There will be change of nomenclature to Programmes such as: BTH, BRE, BCM to global trend, that is; BA Theology, BA Missiology, BA Church Music, BA Christian Education, etc.
