Ex-Oyo Lawmaker, Amos Ayoola Is Dead

A former member of Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon Amos Ayoola is dead.

Ayoola died this morning during a brief illness at the University College Hospital (UCH)Ibadan.

Hon Ayoola represented Ogbomoso North state constituency in the 7th Oyo State House of Assembly between 2011 and 2015 on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

His son Benedict Ayoola, a Nollywood actor broke the news on his social media page.

Ayoola was a close political ally of former Oyo state Governor, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments.
