46 Killed In Fresh Attack On Benue Community

No less than 46 people have reportedly died following an attack on Umogidi village of Entekpa-Adoka district in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.

It was earlier reported on Tuesday that the same village suffered invasion by armed invaders during, resulting in the death of three people.

Chairman of Otukpo LGA, Bako Eje, whose son was also killed in the latest attack, said that the armed men surrounded the village again on Wednesday evening and opened gunfire on the inhabitants.

According to Eje said, as at Thursday afternoon, 46 corpses had been recovered while many people are still missing.
