The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Adamawa has distributed sensitive materials for the conduct of Governorship and State Assembly supplementary elections in 20 affected local government areas.
The newsmen stated that the commission had declared the governorship election held on March 18 in the state as inconclusive due to some irregularities
According to the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mr Hudu Ari , on Friday, said the elections would be conducted in 69 polling units with 36,935 registered voters.
He also stated that the sensitive materials include the BVAS and other essential materials.
Ari also said the affected LGAs for the conduct of the state assembly elections include Girei, Gombi, Numan and Toungo.
He explained that the collation process would be the same as in previous elections
