High Chief Rashidi Ladoja
Former Governor of Oyo State and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, expressed his views on Wednesday regarding the recent elevation of 11 High Chiefs to the rank of beaded crown Oba.
Ladoja made it clear that he is solely interested in the crown of the Olubadan of Ibadanland and has no desire for any other crown.
Speaking to journalists at his private residence in Bodija, Ibadan, the state capital, Ladoja stated, “When I initially entered the race to become the Olubadan, my sole focus was on attaining the position of Olubadan. The only crown I aspire to wear is that of the Olubadan of Ibadanland.”
Ladoja firmly emphasized his lack of interest in any alternative crown, reiterating, “I have no desire for any other crown apart from the Olubadan of Ibadanland.”
