
Ogbomoso born politician and businesman, who was a vibrant member of Awo school of politics (AG) and chieftain of the Alliance for Democracy, AD Chief Prince Debo Gbadebo is dead.
The Alliance for democracy, AD chieftain represented Oyo state on the Southwest Investment Company, Oodua group during the era of late Alhaji Lam Adesina adminstration.
Prince Gbadebo, who hails from Ogbomoso North local government area of Oyo state, died on Wednesday in the early hours, after a brief illness.
The deceased joined politics when he was in the secondary school. He was the Secretary of Nigerian National Youth Council (NNYC) in the 60s. Gbadebo was among the few youth chosen by the Government of Tafawa Balewa to represent Nigeria in the World Youth Council in Sophia Bulgaria.
A close allied of the deceased, Moses Ajao,confirmed his death on facebook Wednesday morning, said
“Erin wo, ajanaku sun bi oke” I woke around 4.00am this morning to ruminate of deeply about our monumental relationship inspite of long age difference.
“Not known it was exact that time you left this sinful world.
Daddy I sincerely cherish your kind-hearted sprit. I love you Sir.
Sleep on Sweet Daddy.” He said.
Prince Debo Gbadebo graduated from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos where he studied Building and Architecture.
