Alhaji Ramoni Akanni is a fantastic and experienced Classical Fuji artiste adjudged by many as the closest to K1’s style in terms of rhythm, lyrics and tone, “Lecturer” as the Ogbomoso, Oyo State, born musician is also fondly called by fans, has kept eating the fruits of his labour in music and the “tree” bearing the fruits has continued growing greener.

He started singing in the early 80’s adopting King Wasiu Ayinde’s brand of Fuji music has been paying off for RK1. He has recorded many successes through his entertainment career. Singing like the Fuji Maestro has also assisted him to travel around the world for musical shows, events and gained solid connections. He pays regular homage to K1.

Alhaji Ramoni Akanni’s music delivery is highly matured and well organized.

Call him a silent achiever and you would not be wrong. For talented Fuji music king, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1)’s sing-alike, Alhaji Ramoni Akanni a.k.a. Raymon King (RK1), being a Fuji artiste has been a success story.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.
