A Forum of Ogbomoso Youths, Ogbomoso Community Youth Forum (OCYF) has called on Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, to ensure that he visits the family of the toddler that was allegedly killed last Thursday in Ogbomoso, during a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign.
The Forum paid a condolence visit to the family of the young girl on Saturday. Speaking through the President, Rev. Peter Olaleye, the forum expressed sadness and regret over the nonchalant attitude of Governor Seyi Makinde toward the incident that claimed the life of a young girl that has a promising future.
They added that Ogbomoso people are giving the Governor a 7-days ultimatum to pay a condolence visit to the family of the toddler and accept the responsibility that a vehicle in his convoy causes the accident that led to the death of a young girl in Ogbomoso.
" Ogbomoso people will not vote for the governor in 2023 if he refuses to take action concerning the incident".They said
Recounting his experience, the father of the toddler disclosed that he was maltreated by a PDP Chieftain in Ogbomoso. He further disclosed that he was locked up with the corpse before Ogbomoso residents intervene.
