Omiyaa for Burial July 3

 


The late former Chairman of Ogbomoso North local government and political icon,  Chief Adebayo Oyewusi, a.k.a Omiyaa will be buried on, Saturday.

According to the family, the burial program will begin with wake keep on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 5:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Oke-elerin, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

The burial service will hold on Saturday, July 3, 2021, by 10:00 am at First Baptist Church, Oke-elerin, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Followed by interment at his residence, No 87, Ikolaba Ayoola's House, Ahoyaya area, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

The Mogaji Ikolaba Ayoola chieftaincy family of Isale Laka, Ogbomoso died on April 13, 2021, at the ripe age of 86.

 Omiyaa is one of the founding fathers of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Oyo state.

The Ogbomoso born political Icon also served as Chairman Health Management board in Oyo state.

The close ally of Alao Akala and Political leader started his politics during the days of Akintola and Awolowo.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments.
