Ajimobi Must Step Down As Oyo APC Leader For Peace And Unity To Reign -Adeduntan |OGBOMOSO INFO|



 A former gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo state , Professor Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has said that the immediate past Executive Governor of the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi should step down as a leader of the party in Oyo State in order for  peace and unity to reign in the party.

 Adeduntan who served as commissioner for health under the Senator Abiola Ajimobi led administration said Apc in oyo state is fragmental and fracture and there is need for genuine reconciliation.

 “We must tell ourselves the truth, truth is bitter, we must be ready to face the reality and resolve crisis in the party if we truly want to move forward.”

He said while featuring on fresh FM radio program "Political circuit" in Ibadan
 “ The party is in trouble and If APC want to remain till 2023, we must go back to the grassroot, resolve all and allow internal democracy to reign without imposition.

 Speaking  on the loss of 2019 election in the state, the Otun Bashorun of Ibadanland said “ The election was lost the day the party’s candidate Adebayo Adelabu was imposed as the gubernatorial candidate of the state

Prof. Adeduntan  also  said” Ajimobi fooled some of them with a promise that he would support their ambition and make them the party’s candidate not knowing that he had another plan .

He further said that Chief Adebayo Adelabu is baseless arrogant and his arrogance led to the failure of the party in 2019 and he must come down if he want to go far to continue

 When I notice the alliance of Seyi Makinde with Ladoja and others, I called him 48hrs to the election but he believed that Ajimobi alone can  make him the governor, I don’t know where he got the confidence from?

 Adeduntan said “My governorship ambition is not a matter of life and death because it is decided by God, they betrayed me and Adelabu betrayed himself.”

Reacting to the allegation that he betrayed the party because he congratulated Engineer Seyi Makinde, who defeated APC candidate during the election,Adeduntan said ” I didn’t betray anybody, i congratulated Makinde because he won the election, he is my brother, just like Ajimobi from Oja Oba in Ibadan and if Adelabu had won, i will do the same”

NECO releases 2022 SSCE external results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the November/December 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the registrar of NECO, broke the news on Thursday in Minna, the capital of Niger state. The 2022 SSCE for external candidates was held from November 21 to December 21. The NECO registrar said a total of 59,124 candidates sat for the examination, with 31,316 males, representing 52.96 per cent, while 27,808, representing 47.03 per cent, were female. He said 58,012 candidates sat for the English Language with 44,162, representing 76.13 per cent, getting credit and above. According to Wushishi, the number of candidates who wrote Mathematics is 57,700, out of which 43,096, representing 74.69 per cent, got credit and above. He also disclosed that 46,825 candidates, representing 79.20%, got five credits and above — irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
