Alhaji Babatunde Oreitan, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress ,APC in Oyo state was this afternoon murdered in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The septugenarian was murdered by unknown assailant in his house at Oremeji Agugu, Ibadan.

According to reliable source, the party leader in Ona Ara Local government was murdered after Surh prayer in a mosque located inside his house

Deputy National Youth leader of the party, Hon. Afeez Mobolaji Repete wrote on his timeline “Alhaji Babatunde Oreitan, you were a principled politician, a devoted muslim and a political leader. Those that killed you will never have peace. Rest in peace Baba Gbemisola, Baba Lateef.”
