Recruitment of new teachers Will start before February - Oyo Education Commissioner |OGBOMOSO INFO|



The Oyo State Government has announced that the process of employing new teachers in the state will start before February this year.

The state government through its Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Professor Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin disclosed this while featuring on a private radio station in Ibadan, the state capital on Tuesday.

Speaking on the steps taken so far on the government’s free education policy, Shangodoyin explained that free textbooks have been given to students of public secondary schools in the state.

According to him, “We have given Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Mathematics and other textbooks. Yes, I can say that the process is on-going, we are being slightly delayed because we are still gathering statistics to take care of primary schools.”
