Sacked Council Chairmen Are Gone Forever, They Are Only After Oyo LG Money - Makinde |OGBOMOSO INFO|
The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Tuesday said that the elected local government chairmen who were sacked by his administration are after the money of the local government areas in the state.
He made this declaration while speaking at the foundation laying ceremony of construction of traditional council building in Ibadan South West Local Government area.
The building was initiated by the former governor of Oyo State, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja who is also the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Makinde while speaking, said that the sacked chairmen are only after the money of the councils.
"Those who are fighting that they want to come back and take over the councils are all after the money of the local government areas.
"They are gone forever. They are after the money of the local government areas. You know that some local government areas have money, that is why they said that they wanted to come back.
"It is my belief that God will change them. It is my belief that they will change their minds".
