Tension As Sacked LG Chairmen Disobey Makinde, Broke into offices In Ogbomoso, others (Photos) |OGBOMOSO INFO|

The elected chairmen of local government areas and local council development areas, LCDAs in Oyo State on Monday outrightly disobeyed Governor Makinde breaking into offices.

Ogbomoso Info reports that some members of ALGON resumed this morning in their various council secretariats across the pacesetter state.

Power tussles had ensued following the sacking of council chairmen elected during the administration of former governor Abiola Ajimobi by the incumbent governor Seyi Makinde.

In December last year, Governor Makinde appointed caretaker chairmen for LGAs and LCDAs in Oyo state to fill the void, this was after many court cases have been instituted in court.

It was gathered that the son of the former Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Akala resumed at the Ogbomoso North local government secretariat.

Barr. Daud Suleiman Abayomi of Ogbomoso Central LCDA resume with his councillors,while Lanre Olaosegba of Ibarapa North-East LCDA also resumed at the council secretariat.

Also the elected chairman of Ogbomoso South local government, Hon Adewale Adeleke, and his Vice-Chairman, resumes alongside the elected Chairman, Ogbomoso South west LCDA Hon Adedeji Adeyemo and his Vice-Chairman, Hon Bello Rasaq(Razor Blade).

Abayomi, who was beaming with smiles and excited while a prayer was ongoing, said “the gate to the secretariat and his office were padlocked but they were broken. He added that policemen were at the entrance and that nobody stopped them.

Hon. Inaolaji Jesutoye of Ogo-oluwa local government also resume today,among others.
