Alao-Akala Has Given COVID-19 Palliatives To The Whole Ogbomoso Zone— Captain Ajao |OGBOMOSO INFO|



The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South, Orire federal constituency, Hon. Captain Jacob Ajao Adejumo, has revealed that former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala have distributed pallatives in terms of cash and kind to the people of the five local governments in Ogbomoso Zone, to cushion the effect of the partial lockdown imposed to fight the spread of COVID-19.
He vowed that nobody in his constituency has benefited from the conditional cash transfer initiated by the Federal Government.
The member of the house of representatives is popularly known as Captain, disclosed this on Thursday morning during a live call-in interview on Ibadan-based radio station, Fresh FM, monitored by OGBOMOSOINFO.
The Deputy Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Navy,when questioned about whether the governor did not lockdown the state because neighboring states are already on lockdown, he said “Governor Seyi Makinde is doing well on the partial Lockdown. The results we are getting said it all.”
Condemning the poor handling of the conditional cash transfer policy initiated by the FG for the poorest of the poor Nigerians across the thirty-six 36)l states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Captain Ajao stated that Nigeria lack accurate data to know the poorest of the poor that are in all the communities that formed a local government area.
Hon Ajao Adejumo debunk the trending rumour that the House of Representatives have been paid March salary ‘I haven’t received any’ he said.

NECO releases 2022 SSCE external results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the November/December 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the registrar of NECO, broke the news on Thursday in Minna, the capital of Niger state. The 2022 SSCE for external candidates was held from November 21 to December 21. The NECO registrar said a total of 59,124 candidates sat for the examination, with 31,316 males, representing 52.96 per cent, while 27,808, representing 47.03 per cent, were female. He said 58,012 candidates sat for the English Language with 44,162, representing 76.13 per cent, getting credit and above. According to Wushishi, the number of candidates who wrote Mathematics is 57,700, out of which 43,096, representing 74.69 per cent, got credit and above. He also disclosed that 46,825 candidates, representing 79.20%, got five credits and above — irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
