Where is 'Mama Gomina' ? |OGBOMOSO INFO|

The fact remains that Rt. Hon. Mulikat Akande-Adeola was instrumental to the emergence of Engineer Seyi Makinde as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer and Governor of the Pacesetter state. Her commitment to the Omi titun Guber Project earned the former House of Rep. Leader ' Mama Gomina' title.

Tutored in the 'Omo Iya Alaro School of Politics' in Ogbomoso under the supervision and watch of Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala ' The Oyato Governor'. Hon. Mulikat Akande-Adeola is a politician that does not believe in 'jumpology' politics, she has being consistent in one party (PDP) since her journey in the political terrain.

The Ogbomoso-Born Lawyer, contested to represent Oyo North at the red chamber but lost her bid in the 2019 General elections.

On assumption of office as Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde 'Omi titun' appointed her as a member of the Oyo state Advisory Council, a council which is now defunct. The Oyo State Advisory Council was initially constituted to colourize heavyweight politicians, antagonists to the idea, had said.

Most members and leaders of PDP in Ogbomoso Zone, It was gathered, have since kept 'Mama Gomina' at arms' length. Sources said she now looks her son 'omi titun' from afar since the 'Gomina' has adopted some people who did not contribute to his political success, as his Godfathers and Godmothers.

'Obinrin rere' is in her best moments but not politically, a source said. She is still 'young' and has many more years ahead of her for great accomplishment.

NECO releases 2022 SSCE external results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the November/December 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the registrar of NECO, broke the news on Thursday in Minna, the capital of Niger state. The 2022 SSCE for external candidates was held from November 21 to December 21. The NECO registrar said a total of 59,124 candidates sat for the examination, with 31,316 males, representing 52.96 per cent, while 27,808, representing 47.03 per cent, were female. He said 58,012 candidates sat for the English Language with 44,162, representing 76.13 per cent, getting credit and above. According to Wushishi, the number of candidates who wrote Mathematics is 57,700, out of which 43,096, representing 74.69 per cent, got credit and above. He also disclosed that 46,825 candidates, representing 79.20%, got five credits and above — irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
