JUST IN : Oyo Civil Servants From Level 13 And Above To Resume Duty On Monday  |OGBOMOSO INFO|





The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde  has directed Level 13 workers upward in the state’s civil service to resume work on Monday.
He disclosed this while briefing journalists on Saturday at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
He said: “First, the state Secretariat will be reopened Monday, April 27th, 2020 but only civil servants at level 13 and above with separate offices will resume.
“We have put certain guidelines to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 in the state’s secretariat.”

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, also quoted the governor as saying that the government has decided to allow civil servants on Grade Level 13 and above to resume work on certain strict conditions, starting from Monday, April 27, 2020.
He said that the state would from Sunday, begin to take delivery of the one million face masks, which he said would be distributed free to market men and women, artisans and civil servants, among others.



 “The following guidelines are in place to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19 within the secretariat: There will be new security measures in place including having only one gate to serve as entrance and exit. All other gates will be closed. All meetings will be held online. 

 “No visitors are allowed except absolutely necessary. There will be hand washing facilities in strategic locations round the secretariat. One 100ml hand sanitizer and face masks will be given to each officer. Bush canteens around the secretariat will remain closed. Officers are encouraged to bring their own food for lunch. Posters and banners will be in conspicuous places round the secretariat to revalidate guidelines for resumption.”
It could be recalled that as part of strategies to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the state, Governor Makinde, in March, announced the closure of the secretariat and other government parastals and agencies.
Also, he directed civil and public servants in the employment of the state, local governments and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) to stay off work for two weeks.

NECO releases 2022 SSCE external results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the November/December 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the registrar of NECO, broke the news on Thursday in Minna, the capital of Niger state. The 2022 SSCE for external candidates was held from November 21 to December 21. The NECO registrar said a total of 59,124 candidates sat for the examination, with 31,316 males, representing 52.96 per cent, while 27,808, representing 47.03 per cent, were female. He said 58,012 candidates sat for the English Language with 44,162, representing 76.13 per cent, getting credit and above. According to Wushishi, the number of candidates who wrote Mathematics is 57,700, out of which 43,096, representing 74.69 per cent, got credit and above. He also disclosed that 46,825 candidates, representing 79.20%, got five credits and above — irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
