Funmi Odebunmi:You Are Missed. By Adewuyi Adegbite |Ogbomoso Info

A year has passed since the untimely death of our beloved wife, mother , daughter and sister, Mrs Oluwafunmilola Olajide Odebunmi, yet it is just like yesterday. How time flies.
To say that the lively woman died at the prime of her age is to say the obvious. She died when her husband, our friend, brother , colleague and benefactor, Akinola Odebunmi, her children, Ayo , Gloria and Ola, her aged father and siblings needed her most, for care, for mentoring, for support and for comradeship. She was like a fruit plucked unriped.
However, who are we to query God? God gives and taketh, to Him alone be the glory. Life definitely can not be the same for the family and has not been the same because of the vacuum left behind which is difficult to fill. Nonetheless, to God be the glory for given the husband, children and families, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and to move on with their lives. He has been their God and will continue to.
Time is the healer of wounds and so we believe. We, on behalf of our friend thanks everyone, traditional rulers, including and not limited to the Onpetu of Ijeru, Alayeluwa, Sunday Oladapo Oyediran Lagbami 3, our father, the former executive governor of Oyo state, Otunba Bayo Alao Akala, head of Institutions, especially, the Vice Chancellors of the University of Ibadan and Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, bosses and colleagues from other educational institutions, men of God, especially Revd Dr J O Adetutu now retired, and the president Ogbomoso Baptist Conference, Revd Dr Ojo, churches, families, friends and foes alike who mourned with the family during their period of bereavement. We pray that such all would fulfill our destinies unindered in Jesus name.. Thanks for your support, kind and cash, God bless you.
