Youth for New Nigeria, (YNN) Surulere Local Government Area of Oyo State has commended the duo of Honourable representing Surulere and Ogooluwa Federal Constituency , Honourable Olusegun Odebunmi Bunvic and The Caretaker Chairman , Surulere North Local Council Development Area of Oyo State, Honourable Mohammed Sarafadeen on their efforts to secure relief materials for victims of rainstorm in some communities within Surulere Local Government.

Recall that some relief materials brought by the officials of National Emergency Management Agency,(NEMA) was distributed last week to the victims of rainstorm in Gambari,Iware,Mayin and some other communities in the Local Government .

The relief materials which include among many other things nails, zinks and beds were facilitated by the duo of Honourable Bunvic and Honourable Sarafadeen in order to cushion the effects of the natural disaster which befell the communities.

Rainstorm had earlier on 25th of April, 2020 destroyed properties worth millons in all the communities.

The Coordinator of the youth organisation in Surulere Local Government, Comrade Alabi Quadri Adetunji lauded the efforts of both leaders for facilitating the relief materials to their people.

He expressed the belief that the materials distributed will bear succour on all the victims of the natural disaster.

However, while calling for more synergy between political office holders within the Local Government, he maintained that inherent challenges facing the Local Government can only be solved through collectivity of responsibility.

“We need more synergy like this in our Local Government.the efforts of both leaders to secure the materials has further established the fact that collectivity remains the best way to tackle problem”.
