Ogbomoso North and South Local Governments has recorded a total of 10 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

This was announced in a statement signed by Governor Seyi Makinde on behalf of the COVID-19 taskforce in Oyo State.

The statement reads: “The COVID-19 confirmation tests for 141 suspected cases came back positive.

“The cases are from Ibadan South East (29), Orelope (16), Ibarapa Central (11), Lagelu (11), Ibadan North (11), Oluyole (10), Egbeda (10), Oyo East (8), Ibadan South West (7), Ogbomoso South (7), Ibadan North West (5), Akinyele (3), Ogbomoso North (3), Atiba (3), Ido (2), Afijio (2), Saki West (1), Ona Ara (1) and Surulere (1) Local Government Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 1867.
