Oyo LG Crisis: One Dead, Several Injured in Ogbomoso |OGBOMOSO INFO|




The crisis rocking local government administration in Oyo state take another dimension on monday, as one person was killed and several others injured in a face off between the two contending sides.

The face off was between the loyalists of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the People Democratic Party (PDP)
An eye witness told our correspondent that several dangerous weapon which includes cutlasses, ammunitions, juju were on display during the fight.

It was gathered that the deceased simply identified as 'Alajase' is a member of the PDP from surulere local government.

Hon. Ibrahim Ajagbe, the Caretaker Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government said 8 people that were injured by the APC loyalists have been taken to hospital.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments.
