Oyo LG Power Tussles: Tension As APC and PDP Members Clash In Ogbomoso |OGBOMOSO INFO|



The crisis rocking the local councils in Oyo state has turn to a bloody one, as there was tension in Ogbomoso on Monday morning, members of the People’s Democratic Party,PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC clashes in a  face off.



According to our reporter, Political thugs loyal to the PDP were seen displaying ammunitions and burning tyres at the front of Ogbomoso Central LCDA.

The APC are now coming with full force marching from Ogbomoso North Local Government to Ogbomoso Central Local Council Development Area.

    The imbroglio is a whirlwind that will not bring anything good,we are not yet matured politically to know whatever actions our Leader/Elected committed end result will be on Masses,Governor should know He had bkom responsible to all citizen,no more Party candidate,therefore any action that will problems should be avoided bkos there will be causality on both side,if d ongoing crisis is not curtail in time and FEDERAL govt decided to toe OBJ line of declaration of Emergency in d Stats,GSM will be d greatest looser,we admired him so far and see him as a gentleman,he can only run but can not escape application of Supreme Court judgement already declared and bounded all State Governor, either u are part of d case or not,let these people continue&finish their tenure,he should think rationally,ignore those advisers who are telling him to be adamant,we are in new era now,Govs/Executive reckless that had been part of our system must comes to an end,GSM should be diplomatic enough to work at d elected Chairman's inherited,a word is enough for d wise.....

Oyo Speaker Meets Senate Leadership, Deliberates State Assembly, LG Autonomy |OGBOMOSO INFO|

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments. The brief meeting which was held yesterday after a national legislative assignment in Abuja, it’s considered necessary to improve cooperation between the National Assembly (Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives) and the State legislative arm.
