JUST IN: Oyo Assembly Confirms LGAs, LCDAs Caretaker Committee Secretaries, Members |OGBOMOSO INFO|

The Oyo State House of Assembly has confirmed the nomination of 68 secretaries and 340 members of local government and Local council development areas in the state.

The Speaker of the house , Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin in his remark urged all caretaker Chairmen of LGAs, LCDAs to swear in the secretaries and members on friday in order for them to resume official duty at their respective offices on Monday.

The Assembly's approval was consequent upon the presentation of the report by the Chairman House Committee on Local and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Demola Popoola .

The motion for its adoption, was moved by the Majority leader, Hon Sanjo Adedoyin who give kudos to the committee for the excellent job done.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments.
