Oyo-Ile Investors' Forum today presented its report to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State. The Forum which is a non governmental organisation led by Mr Yinka Owodunni.
According to the Governor through his twitter account he reveal that
"One of the four pillars on which our administration stands is the expansion of our economy. To this end, the Oyo Ile Investors’ Forum, a non-governmental organisation led by my good friend, Yinka Owodunni, presented its report to our administration this morning, stating eight takeaways from the event which held on May 27, 2019."
Makinde stated that"These takeaways are; aggregate investment potential over 4-8 years, job creation, increased access to healthcare, efficient waste disposal, cooking gas (LPG) penetration, integration of women into the real sector, increasing tax revenue and identification of potential investors."
He further stress it that Cabinet members were also part of the event to interact with members of Oyo Ile Investor’s Forum and potential investors to facilitate adoption and implementation of the recommendations. Oyo State can take advantage of proximity to Lagos to become an economic hub in the South West region.
Governor Makinde added that is administration is already working to provide a conducive environment for business, including improved security and infrastructure.
"We recently advertised opportunities for public-private partnership (PPP) investment opportunities which savvy investors should take advantage of."He said
