Tribunal Confirms Senator Buhari’s Victory As Oyo North Senator



The Oyo State National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Ibadan, on Tuesday confirmed the election of Sen. AbdulFatai Buhari as the properly elected Senator for Oyo North Senatorial district.

In a judgment delivered by Justice Sambo Daka on behalf of the three-member panel, the tribunal said the petitioner, Hon. Mulikat Akande-Adeola failed to establish the allegation of corrupt pratices, overvoting and non-compliance in the election.
