 The monarch travelled out of the country alongside his son, Prince Akeem Adeyemi, who is currently representing Oyo federal constituency for the second time in the House of Representatives, Abuja.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments.
