4 OYHA Candidates, 64 Others Make Oyo LGAs, LCDAs Chairmanship List |OGBOMOSO INFO|







Oyo State House of Assembly  reads out the names of the Local Government and Local Community Development Areas caretaker committee Chairmen today, 16th of December, 2019.

The names of the caretaker committee which is 68 in numbers where contained in a message sent by the executive arm of government led by Engr. Seyi Makinde.



Governor Makinde sent 33 names of the caretakers and 35 names for the newly created LCDAs.

The executive arm further request the Honorable house to screen and approve the name of the above listed nominees.
Speaker of the Oyo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin said 6 names are expected which are names of the secretary and other 5 members per local government and local council development areas


A woman, two young boys, 4 out of the 6 candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who lost their bids to represent their state constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

Some of the names on the list include Olorunsogo – Chief Ayandeyi Ayantunji; Saki West – Dabiri Sarafadeen; Oluyole – Akorede Wahab Kazeem; Ogbomoso central Seun Adeyinka; Omi Adio LCDA- Sheriff Adeoojo, Egbeda Ajorosun Dr. Amos Olawoyin, Atisbo South-Mokanjuola Joel Ayoola, Ibadan north Are Latosa – Kazeem Osaniyi, Ibadan North – Alhaji Waheed Akanni, Ona Ara – Alh Sanusi musibau Adesina, Oluyole Idiayunre – Olaide Popoola

Oyo Speaker Meets Senate Leadership, Deliberates State Assembly, LG Autonomy |OGBOMOSO INFO|

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments. The brief meeting which was held yesterday after a national legislative assignment in Abuja, it’s considered necessary to improve cooperation between the National Assembly (Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives) and the State legislative arm.
