In recognition of his immense contributions to the development of Ibadanland, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba SALIU ADETUNJI, has on Saturday conferred the title of Jagunmólú of Ibadanland on Governor SEYI MAKINDE of Oyo state who doubles as a son of Ibadan at a reception held in his honour by Ibadan Progressive Union.

In a related development, he was also invested with the title, Distinguished Member of Ibadan Progressive Union.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments.
