NNL: Crown FC Thrash Joy Cometh FC Of Lagos |OGBOMOSO INFO|






The joy of Joy Cometh Football Club of Lagos having won at home in their week two (2) game and hoping to steal a show on the road was put on hold by Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso as the Ajilete Warriors walloped the visiting Lagos based side by three (3) unreplied goals .

The Soun Stadium was agog today Saturday 7th December, 2019 as the ever dedicated fans and supporters cheer the Ajilete Warriors to a resounding victory in the week three (3) Group B2 fixtures of the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The first five minutes witnessed both sides playing well , dishing out passes and defending well with good saves by the goal keepers until the Ajilete Warriors resumed intense pressure on the guests in a bid to secure an early lead.

The pressure paid off for the homers in the twelfth (12th) minute when Abbey Thompson dropped into the net Wale Farayola's volleyed ball that barbed goal keeper Alabi Segun in goal for the Lagos based side.

The efforts of Maloma Taofeek's well coordinated midfield was fruitless as Edoka Owoicho and Monsuru Rafiu curtailed all their tactical and technical moves.

Abbey Thompson fired home Wale Farayola's assist in the twenty eighth (28th) minute to increase the tally for the Ajilete Warriors and those were the only goals scored in the first half.

The Lagosians came into the second half full of energy with well tailored final passes as well as firing from all cylinders but could not have any goal to show for it.

The third (3rd) and final goal of the exclusive encounter came in the fifty first (51st) minute when Adeyemi Adeyeye ballooned in a dropped ball by goal keeper Segun Alabi from a ballistic shot by Moses Mustapha after cornering Love Felix and Onanuga Wale at the left flank.

Crown FC will play host to Stationery Stores of Lagos in the week four (4) Group B2 league fixtures of the NNL on Sunday 15th December, 2019 at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.
