Appeal Court Verdict : Scores of Supporters Pay Solidarity Visit to Makinde,To Felicitate Him |OGBOMOSO INFO|





Scores of supporters in Ibadan have staged a solidarity rally to the Governor's office to felicitate with Governor Seyi Makinde over the appeal court judgement on Oyo state Governorship election held on March 9

The supporters who were seen carrying placards with various inscriptions of goodwill also sang choruses of jubilation to the Governor

Governor Seyi Makinde in his charge to the supporters urged them to remain law abiding and go about their lawful engagement as government would not relent in delivering dividends of democracy to the people


Earlier, a youth representative Comrade Najeedeen Kehinde and women representative Sheu Sheriffat pledged their unalloyed support to Governor Makinde's administration and admonished him to remain resolute in his commitment to good governance in the state

They also stressed that Governor Makinde's mandate is the will of the people and nothing would snatch it

The groups were; Save Oyo, Oyo state women voice, Mekunu Koya, Oyo state youth grand alliance and Oyo mandate group.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments.
