Makinde who attends an international agricultural Conference in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire,  expresses is developmental motives on agriculture through his Twitter account



"Today, we attended the International Exhibition of Agriculture and Animal Resources of Abidjan in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire. It is a platform where stakeholders in the agriculture, animal and fish resources industry meet to discuss Smart Agriculture and Technological Innovations."


"Our administration is committed to unlocking the economic prosperity in Oyo State by leveraging on our comparative advantage in agriculture. We have already started working with our farmers to improve productivity. We are also embarking on farm estate projects in Eruwa and Akufo."

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments. The brief meeting which was held yesterday after a national legislative assignment in Abuja, it’s considered necessary to improve cooperation between the National Assembly (Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives) and the State legislative arm.
