Makinde Appoints Musah Ex-Dep. Speaker As Chairman,Oyo State House of Assembly Commission |OGBOMOSO INFO|

The Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde has forwarded names to the Oyo Assembly, requesting the appointment of immediate past Oyo state Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon. Dr Musah Abdulwasi as Chairman,Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission.

Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin read the names sent by the state executive on Tuesday at the floor of the House.

Aside ex-lawmakers, Rt Hon. Dr Musah Abdulwasi who is to serve as the chairman of the commission and a full time member representing Oyo North senatorial district,

Other members includes: Hon. Ojoawo Moses Adewuyi as full time member representing Oyo south senatorial district, Mrs Eyinade Ladoye as full time member representing Oyo Central senatorial district, Adekunle Iyanda as part time representing Oyo South and Ogundoke Hassan as part time member representing Oyo North Senatorial district.

The Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin met the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan to deliberate issues around financial autonomy for States Assembly and local governments.
